Minnesota K-12 Reading Teacher Endorsement
Due to a generous grant from the O’Shaughnessy Foundation, the University of St. Thomas School of Education can offer 10 teachers the opportunity to expand their literacy skills with a scholarship (amount TBD for Summer 2026) to apply toward the MN K-12 Reading Teacher Endorsement tuition. The university has chosen to offer this exciting opportunity to Tier 3 and/or Tier 4 teachers currently teaching in a charter, public or private school serving diverse and underrepresented students, determined by evaluating the following metrics:
- Percent of under-represented students in the district/school
- Percent of English language learners
- Percent of free and reduced lunch
- Title I designation
