Chemistry Education (9-12)

About Chemistry Education (9-12)

As a chemistry educator, you will provide learners in grades 9-12 a critical link between physics and natural sciences while helping them understand the matter at its most fundamental level. In addition to initial licensure, Chemistry teachers also earn an endorsement in general science, qualifying them to teach in grades 5-8. Science teachers are in high demand. In this program, you will:

  • Gain the knowledge and skills to have an impact on students in the K-12 classroom.
  • A supportive network of fellow students, alumni, and faculty that inspire and sustain educators throughout their careers.
  • Learn from expert faculty currently active in the K-12 classroom who are here to help you best create your classroom.
Where you'll learn:

On-campus and online in Minneapolis

When to start:

Year round
