Collaborative Conversations
The School of Education hosts Dean's Forums twice each academic year to provide a place for convening around current topics and challenges in education. These forums embody the School of Education’s ongoing mission to foster a strong culture of collaboration.
Since their launch in 2019, Dean's Forums have featured both School of Education faculty and distinguished educational leaders from beyond our campus. Forum topics have included:
- You Are Not Alone: Responding to Student Trauma in Higher Education
- Author Panel: A Good Time for the Truth
- Culture and the Ecological Crisis: Expanding Our View in Education
- Building a Charter School Through the Lens of Racial and Social Justice
- "Thinking Critically" Inclusive Pedagogy: A Conversation with School of Education Authors
We invite you to be part of these ongoing conversations by joining us for an upcoming Dean's Forum. Your voice is key in examining strategies for enacting sustained and meaningful change in education through innovative, equity-driven initiatives.
"The School of Education is leading the way in addressing pressing needs in the field of education. Dean's Forums exhibit our commitment to fostering honest dialogues and moving the needle when it comes to ensuring all students have access to a world-class education."
