Learning to Lead
Our Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Learning seeks to prepare current and future K-12, higher education and adult education leaders to engage in and advocate for continuous improvement, systematic reform and social justice within educational institutions and communities.
A Strong Foundation for Your Future
Our Education Specialist (EdS) degree offers a variety of tracks for you to pursue a leadership role in the field of education. Whether you strive to become a licensed principal, superintendent or director of special education, your coursework will provide a strong foundation and understanding of leadership and education. Our degree is designed for busy working professionals, and you can begin your program in summer, fall or spring.
All new students enrolling in the EdS with administrative licensure program for Spring, Summer, or Fall 2026 will be eligible for financial support through the School of Education’s new Excellence in School Leadership Fund. This new fund was established to support and elevate school leaders in K-12 schools. As a result of our investment in administrative leaders, most students seeking their first EdS degree with administrative licensure can complete the program at a fraction of the typical tuition cost. This exclusive opportunity makes high-quality graduate education more accessible, allowing you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to drive meaningful change in schools and communities.
