Dr. Bonnie Ingelin is an assistant professor of Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Dr. Ingelin specializes in both ECSE and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She received her PhD from Florida State University in 2018 with an emphasis on teaching science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to students with ASD. Her research interests are in teaching academic skills to young children with ASD. Dr. Ingelin has previously published articles on teaching early numbers sense skills, listening comprehension, and algebraic word problems to students with ASD under her previous last name of Henning. Dr. Ingelin is currently working on publishing her research on teaching early number sense skills to young children with ASD.
